A few years ago I requested free swag from DC Comics to put inside the member registration packets for BayCon, the convention I was volunteering for at the time. What they sent me was a few hundred temporary Supergirl tattoos from the 2009 miniseries “Supergirl: Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade.”
As it turned out, the comic’s writer and artist were acquaintances of mine (good friends of my sister, Biggletron), Landry Q Walker and Eric Jones. For some reason, DC hadn’t gotten Landry or Eric any of the tattoos for themselves, so I pulled some aside for them.
Nowadays, Landry and Eric are working on the absolutely amazing “Danger Club,” published by Image Comics. My sister edits the book for them.
There are no temporary tattoos available from that comic.
