Are our expectations really so low? It’s a good thing he said “editors and reporters” instead of “journalists,” because if they weren’t willing before now, THEY WERE NEVER JOURNALISTS!
And if the Associate Managing Editor FOR STANDARDS(!!!) doesn’t require more of them, he’s no journalist either, FFS.
